Representing Tallinn University of Technology (Tal Tech, Estonia), Dr. Alla Shogenova and Dr. Kazbulat Shogenov participated in the 2nd progress meeting of the European educational ERASMUS+ project on 12 December 2025: Hy-EDU (Hydrogen Education, “INTEGRATING SUSTAINABLE LARGE-SCALE HYDROGEN TRANSPORT & STORAGE INTO ENGINEERING PROGRAMMES AS AN ELEMENT OF HYDROGEN STRATEGY FOR A CLIMATE-NEUTRAL EUROPE” – https://hy-edu.eu).
Within the project, our consortium (🇪🇪Tal Tech, Department of Geology, 🇵🇱Silesian University of Technology, 🇩🇪Freiberg University, 🇮🇹University of Brescia) will develop an online course on the mainstream topic – Hydrogen transport and geological storage. At the meeting, we discussed the progress of the project started in 2024, updated the topics we plan to develop, and distributed them among project participants in accordance with their areas of expertise. We have planned additional milestones to ensure productive progress.
It was a great pleasure to meet the project participants, colleagues, and renowned professors from Poland, Italy, and Germany. The next meeting will be organised next year in Italy by the 🇮🇹 University of Brescia. See you in Italy soon. I hope to report after six months, with beautiful preliminary results from our course.
We thank the leader of the project, Professor Dr Marcin Lutynski (Deputy Head of Department for Science, Promotion and Cooperation with Socio-economic Environment, Department of Geoengineering and raw materials extraction, Coordinator of Priority Research Area 6 of the Silesian University of Technology)
We all thank the European Commission for the financial support, European Commission, Erasmus+
