Dr. Kazbulat Shogenov, the researcher at TalTech (Tallinn University of Technology – www.taltech.ee, https://taltech.ee/geoloogia-instituut) and CEO of SHOGenergy consulting company, visited with lectures (Synergy of CCUS, Hydrogen and renewable energy for a carbon-neutral future: a case study offshore Baltic) the Silesian University of Technology (SUT) in Gliwice city (Poland). The event was supervised by Professor of SUT Dr. Marcin Lutynski and supported by the ERASMUS+ EU program.
International and Polish students of SUT, researchers, and project managers participated in this event.
🇵🇱SUT founded in 1945, is one of the largest and top-ranked technical universities in Poland. Located in Upper Silesia, the most industrialized part of Poland, it is an important hub of industrial research.
🥇SUT has been awarded a highly prestigious title within the ‘Excellence Initiative – Research University’ program and finds itself among just 10 research universities in Poland. The Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering, and Industrial Automation of SUT runs the scope of research concerning modern mining, which covers appropriate geological identification of mineral deposits and economically effective extraction of raw materials in accordance with circular economy principles.
I would like to thank the 🇪🇺ERASMUS+ EU mobility program for financial support and Professor of the Silesian University of Technology Dr. Marcin Lutynski- vice-director of the Geoengineering Department for the hospitality at SUT🙏
🤝Our 🇪🇪Estonian and 🇵🇱Polish research groups are cooperating for a long time within common projects and scientific networks.
🤝It was discussed with doctor Lutynski further plans for post-doctoral study at the SUT in the field of Hydrogen energy and possible cooperation in the scientific field and possible business models between our company SHOGenergy and the university.
