The concept of Dr. Kazbulat Shogenov and Dr. Alla Shogenova—the synergy of Geological CO2 Storage (CCUS), Geothermal energy production using CO2 (CO2 plume geothermal (CPG)), and Enhanced oil recovery using CO2 (CO2-EOR & CO2-EOR+)—was included in the technical report of
IEAGHG (IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Programme – a not-for-profit technology collaboration program of the International Energy Agency!) 2023 (IEAGHG Technical Report, 2023-02, August 2023, “Prospective Integration of Geothermal Energy with Carbon Capture and Storage”).

In the new version of the concept, hydrogen storage and the principle of the circular economy have been added to the same structure… but this is also cool!

The IEA Greenhouse Gas R&D Program is a truly authoritative program of the International Energy Agency (IEA)!
