SHOGenergy participates in a new Horizon Europe project HERCCULES – HEROES IN SOUTHERN EUROPE TO DECARBONIZE INDUSTRY WITH CCUS started on 1.01.2023 and launched by the project kick-off meeting on 15/02/2023 in Piacenza, Italy.

This unique, ambitious, and innovative project funded by the EC for 5 years, is coordinated by LEAP (Piacenza Energy and Environment Laboratory) and includes 23 partners. The HERCCULES will demonstrate the feasibility of the entire CO2 Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) value chain in two regions of southern Europe with high industrial density, in the Po Valley in Italy and Greece.

SHOGenergy will work in three work packages of the project (WP8-10), including regulatory, social, financial issues, education, and dissemination.
